As the core electronic component responsible for connecting and disconnecting electrical circuits, connectors are tasked with transmitting current, voltage, or optical signals from one conductor to another, playing an important role in the transmission and transfer between conductors of various devices. At present, China has developed into the world's largest connector market, and with the rapid iteration of technology and the widespread adoption of digitalization, this has further driven technological innovation and product upgrades in the connector industry.
With the current advancement of technology becoming increasingly sophisticated, the quality standards of electronic products continue to rise. When purchasing electronic devices, consumers pay more and more attention to the overall quality and service life of the products. The reliability of connectors directly affects the overall operational stability of devices. Deke consistently adheres to strict quality control standards, with all products undergoing multiple reliability tests to comprehensively verify various performance and functional indicators, ensuring long-term stable and reliable operation.
Deke Conducts Four Core Tests, Laying a Solid Foundation of Reliability:
1.ROHS Environmental Test
Principle: To detect the content of restricted hazardous substances such as lead, cadmium, and mercury in connector materials, and to determine whether they comply with the standard limits.
Objective: To simulate the control of hazardous substances in products, reduce environmental and human harm, and comply with environmental protection regulations and industry entry requirements.
2.Electrical Performance Testing
Includes insulation resistance testing, contact resistance testing, dielectric withstand testing, and temperature rise testing.
Purpose: Insulation resistance is used to verify whether the insulation performance of the connector meets the circuit design specifications, and to check whether its resistance consistently meets the technical design standards in high temperature and high humidity environments.
3.Environmental Testing
Includes salt spray testing, constant temperature and humidity testing, etc.
Objective: To evaluate the corrosion resistance of connectors, terminals, and coatings against salt spray; meanwhile, to assess whether the performance of terminals and insulators undergoes any abnormal changes in high-temperature and high-humidity environments, and whether the overall performance of the connector is affected.
4.Mechanical Performance Testing
Includes insertion and extraction force testing, vibration testing, mechanical shock testing, terminal (PIN) retention force testing, terminal crimping force (forward force) testing, and life testing, among others.
Objective: To test by simulating the actual usage scenarios of users, conducting experiments according to standard set parameters until the design assessment requirements are met, thereby verifying whether the mechanical performance of the product falls within the normative design range. Different types of connectors correspond to different test items, and the selection of specific test schemes also relies on the professional experience and judgment of the inspection personnel.
Our Deke company has established a professional testing laboratory of over 300㎡, equipped with a variety of advanced testing equipment, achieving full-process quality control from raw materials to finished products. We drive continuous process optimization through scientific validation, committed to providing our customers with more stable and reliable connector products.
We fully understand that reliable connections are the cornerstone of system stability. Every Deke connector must undergo rigorous testing across four key dimensions to ensure it 'fits well, lasts long, and transmits steadily,' providing reliable protection for the value of your products.
Choose Deke, choose reliable connections, and look forward to the future together.
