Centered on the standard 6.2mm pitch, these connectors achieve precise matching for both high and low power scenarios, delivering professional and reliable solutions for circuit connections across diverse application needs.

The core strength of the VL6.2 series lies in its precise balance between electrical performance and practical usability. All critical parameters have undergone rigorous testing to meet real-world industrial application requirements, rather than relying solely on theoretical values.
1. Pitch Design: 6.2mm Optimal Pitch – Balancing Safety & Space Efficiency:The 6.2mm pin center distance is not arbitrarily defined; it represents an engineering trade-off based on PCB routing density and temperature rise control. This design avoids increased electric field coupling between adjacent terminals and abnormal temperature rise caused by insufficient pitch, while eliminating wasted space from excessive spacing. It is particularly suitable for space-critical applications such as compact control cabinets. Meanwhile, it reliably achieves a creepage distance of more than 1.2mm, fully complying with safety and regulatory requirements.
2. Current Rating: 20A Rated Current – Suitable for Medium & High-Power Applications:The connector supports a maximum rated current of 20A AC/DC (for 1–2 circuits with 3.5mm² wire). Current-carrying capacity varies with wire size and number of circuits (e.g., stable 20A with AWG #12 wire for 1–2 circuits, with reasonable derating as circuit count increases). It easily satisfies medium-to-high power connection demands in industrial equipment, photovoltaic inverters, charging pile modules, and similar applications. Under a continuous 15A load for 30 minutes, the temperature rise is a stable 9.3℃, far superior to comparable low-cost products.
3. Electrical Performance: Stable & Reliable, Reducing Failure Risks:Initial contact resistance ≤7mΩ; contact resistance remains ≤10mΩ after environmental testing. Insulation resistance ≥1000MΩ, and withstand voltage reaches 2000VAC for 1 minute. These characteristics effectively prevent poor contact, short circuits, and other hidden dangers, ensuring stable current and signal transmission while reducing equipment troubleshooting costs.
4. Environmental Adaptability: Temperature & Wear Resistant for Harsh Conditions:Operating temperature range: -25℃ to +85℃ (including energized temperature rise), enabling reliable performance under fluctuating temperatures in industrial environments. The housing is made of PA66 (30% glass fiber reinforced in selected models), with a heat distortion temperature of 260℃, resisting deformation under continuous load. It also features UL94-V0 flammability rating for enhanced safety.The connector maintains stable performance even in harsh environments such as salt spray and vibration. It has been field-tested in unprotected, rough-handling conditions during maintenance of wind power pitch cabinets, retaining spring contact force and showing no signs of terminal oxidation.

1. Terminal: Phosphor bronze with tin plating, low resistance, high conductivity and corrosion resistance.
The terminals are made of tin-plated phosphor bronze with a contact spring thickness of 0.35 mm and a modulus of elasticity controlled at 110 GPa ±5%. After 500 mating cycles, the change in contact resistance remains below 0.5 mΩ, ensuring long-term reliability after repeated use.It supports a wide range of wire sizes from AWG #22 to #12 (0.3–3.5 mm²) and requires no specialized crimping tools — standard tools are sufficient for crimping and assembly.Even in complex on-site maintenance environments, replacement and installation can be completed quickly, greatly improving maintenance efficiency.
2. Housing: PA66 Nylon, UL94‑V0 rated, providing superior insulation and flame retardancy for enhanced safety.
Housing (Socket): Constructed from PA66 Nylon with UL94‑V0 flame retardant rating. It features a split male‑female structure with a secure locking design, enabling smooth mating and firm retention. This effectively prevents accidental disconnection and poor contact, solving the common issue of loose terminals inside the housing found in conventional connectors.An optional secondary retainer is available to prevent incomplete insertion and contact dislodgement, further enhancing safety and reliability in high‑current circuit connections.Multiple kit configurations including 2P/3P are offered, with a single housing compatible with devices of different circuit counts. This simplifies spare parts inventory management, greatly improving procurement and assembly efficiency for small and medium‑sized equipment manufacturers while reducing overall costs.
